Aseega technology provides an extensive range of sleep analysis results, with different levels of detail(1):

  • Sleep scoring: 2-state, 5-state and 10-state(2) on a 30-second epoch basis
  • Raw 10-state scoring, before contextual rules smoothing

Numerical Results

Whatever the analysis package, the results are also provided in a numerical result file: MATLAB-compatible MAT-file , Excel file .

In addition, for convenience, the Aseega For Research numerical file contains sleep parameters computed for six different Sleep Onset definitions.


(1) according to the analysis package chosen.

(2) R&K conventional sleep stages plus 4 intermediate states.

(3) the default sleep onset definition used is the first 3 epochs of stage N1 or the first epoch of any other sleep stage.
Other definitions are provided.

(4) Physip's EEGWatch is a time-frequency display that reveals sleep structure (learn more ).
